Our Company
Deakin Beach Art Australia® is a small 100% Australian owned company based in tropical Cairns. We are art lovers, who work collaboratively with established Australian artists to create wearable pieces of art in the form of high-quality, contemporary beach, and leisurewear.
Our eye-catching, functional products are made from environmentally friendly materials and feature a high standard in design and quality. All products are ethically sourced and 5% of every retail sale is paid directly to the artists.
What makes us unique
Introducing our first collection of beach footwear, sarongs and towels feature the works of award winning Aboriginal and Torres Strait artists. These contemporary artworks draw on artistic traditions that are some of the oldest in the world.
Often encompassing themes of traditional life, inherited myths and culture they weave a story of great depth and beauty. We will continue to introduce more Australian artists with different styles of work and designs coming up.

Our EnvirosuedeTM fabric is made from 80% recycled plastic bottles so it not only looks good but you feel good about using it. Our limited-edition collections are printed using methods that precisely preserve the raw intricate detail of the original hand-painted artworks, ensuring stunning and stylishly functional products for beach, bathroom, interior design, travel and more. All artwork printed directly from the original work. No digital enhancements.
